The Gwaiing Landfill Site remains closed
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Gwaiing landfill site remains temporarily closed.

UPDATE ON 30 October - Gwaiing landfill site is open. We request that drivers be cautious when driving at the landfill site. The collection of green bags will also resume today.

GEORGE NEWS - Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Gwaiing landfill site remains temporarily closed.

The George Waste Transfer Station remains open for the disposal of domestic waste.

Please note that green bags will not be collected until further notice.

The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused.
