GEORGE NEWS - Please be advised that the Gwaiing Landfill Site is temporarily closed today, Wednesday 9 April, due to inclement weather conditions.
Residents are informed that the Waste Transfer Station remains open and may be used for the disposal of domestic waste.
Due to circumstances out of our control, please note that green bag collections will not take place today in the following areas:
• Denneoord
• Twee Rivieren
• Bodorp
• Camphersdrift
• Fernridge
These areas will be serviced on Saturday.
