York High crowns their greatest dancer
York High’s dance competition of the year, York’s Greatest Dancer, took place on Thursday 21 May in the school hall, showcasing an evening of exceptional talent. Grade 12 learner Jade Heyns was crowned York’s Greatest Dancer 2026 and also won Best Duet alongside Carla Wilson. Kitra Soldin took the title for Best Amateur, while Carla Wilson was named runner-up overall, with Margot Michaelides placing third. What a night of dance!
