CRICKET NEWS - Jezé Campher of the Garden Route Badgers received a further accolade last Thursday when she was awarded the Cricket SA (CSA) Girl’s U16 Player of the Tournament Award at the annual CSA Awards at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
Campher, who was a joint recipient of the award with Miya Lalor (Western Province), was the joint top performer at the national tournament in Gqeberha last December.
She is currently with the SA U19 team in Pakistan and could not receive the award in person, but Gary Moos, the cricket services manager of SWD Cricket, received it on her behalf.
