Dance Mosaic fundraiser helps fund hundreds of sterilisations
A mountain of dog and cat food filled the foyer of the George Arts Theatre on Saturday 16 May as audiences arrived for the gala performance of Dance Mosaic: Dancing for Dogs.The annual fundraiser, led by Abbi Geldenhuys of AGAB (Abbi Geldenhuys Academy of Ballet), raised an impressive R88 000 through ticket and raffle sales across four performances.Participating dance schools included AGAB, Melissa Page School of Dance, Studio Eunika, Megan Wille School of Ballet, Anthony Rau Dance Academy and Marlise’s School of Spanish Dance.Special guest performances were delivered by Karla and Nico Fourie, as well as Hannah Marchall.
