Arende laai water
Die voorspelers van die Arend-rugbyspan het Maandag 'n lynstaan van 'n ander aard aangepak. Die klomp spiertiere het gehelp om 20 384 liter water op 'n vragmotor te laai vir droogtehulp aan Winburg. Albertinia Meubelvervoer het weereens gereed gestaan om die dorp se waterversameling te vervoer. Volgens Rynhard van As, spanbestuurder van die Arende, wil sy manne nou op 'n gereelde grondslag kom handjie bysit. "Ons hou van gemeenskapprojekte, dit beteken vir die ouens baie om te kan help," het hy gesê.
