Master swimmers crowned

GEORGE NEWS - Pippy Bishop from George and Loy Park from Little Brak River were awarded the Fish Eagle Masters Club trophies for their performance at the SA Masters Swimming Championships held in Cape Town earlier this year.

Bishop competed in the 30-34yrs category and won 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Park again competed in the 80-84yrs category and won 3 silver and 1 bronze medal.

The next SA Masters Championships will be held at the Newton Park Pool in Port Elizabeth in March. Anyone aged 19 and older may take part and there are no qualifying times.
