GEORGE SWIMMING NEWS - Fish Eagles Masters Swimming Club, in conjunction with SA Masters Swimming (SAMS), will host their annual winter charity fundraiser at Virgin Active in Heather Park on Saturday 31 August from 14:00 to 16:00.

Everyone is welcome whether you are a member of the club or Virgin Active, or not. Non-members must bring their IDs, a costume, cap and goggles. It costs R30 per entrant. Virgin Active has kindly opened its facility to non-members who wish to join Fish Eagles Masters in raising funds for a nominated charity.

Last year over R4 000 was raised for the nominated charity, namely the SPCA.

The club encourages the public to join. This is the first swim of the new season in preparation for the national championships in Germiston in March 2020. Lucky dip prizes as well as a Wilderness weekend for two are up for grabs.
