GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - The Eden ladies veteran team made their presence known at the inter-districts tournament, securing the silver medal against the top bowls players in the country.
The team missed the gold by a small margin in the final match of the prestigious tournament.
Eden Bowls selected competitive teams comprising of both experienced and young talent to compete in the various national tournaments.
The National Inter-district Championship took place from 9 to 13 March and Eden Bowls was represented by the men's and ladies open sides, as well as the B sides.
The open sides played in Port Elizabeth, the men and ladies B sides in Ekurhuleni and the men's and ladies veteran sides in Gauteng North.
The provincial teams were capped at the prestigious annual Eden Bowls prize-giving which was held at the Outeniqua Bowling Club.
