GEORGE NEWS - Tyholorha Primary School scooped the first prize at the annual netball Academy Cup organised by the George Sports Academy on Friday 11 May.
Nine schools from George took part in the tournament at the Nelson Mandela University sports grounds and Tyholorha won the u.13 netball finals. Four of the girls from Tyholorha were selected to be part of the Academy's netball students next year.
This will allow the girls to train and perfect their netball skills and also acquire life skills. This is the second consecutive year that Tyholorha Primary School wins this trophy.
