GEORGE NEWS - Southern Cape Okinawa Goju Ryu recently hosted its 34th annual regional tournament in George.
The event was well attended by clubs in the Eden district as well as a team from Port Elzabeth.
The divisions ranged from seven years old up to senior black belt.
The black belt Kata division was won by Sam Wiese (George) while Terance Crook (Oudtshoorn) took gold in the Kumite division.
Lauren Rothman (George) took gold in both Kata and Kumite in the ladies black belt division.
In the junior division, Bosman Joubert and Rhuzaan Pretoruis took gold in Kata and Kumite.
