GEORGE EQUESTRIAN NEWS - School riders from George delivered their best performance ever in the highly competitive Sanesa National Championships at Kayalami, Johannesburg.
As members of the Western Cape team, the talented young riders competed against the cream of schools riders in South Africa, with more than 800 horses participating.
Most of the categories had 50 participants, which made for tight competition.
Blanco Primary School had two riders in the WC team, Pippa (11) and Rosslyn Squiar (8), and due to the placings received at the championship, the school now ranks no 6 in SA. Pippa is ranked no 2 primary school rider in South Africa with Rosslyn ranked no 2 in grade 1-3.
