SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The first Klipheuwel Run/Walk & Ride event in the Little Brak River area will take place on 23 December.
The event will involve MTB races with 8km, 12km and 30km distances, and night trail runs/walks of 4km and 8km.
The starting times are 07:00 for the cycling and 19:30 for the night trail run/walk event. This event is taking place on private farmland.
The first 600 entrants will receive a goody bag, there will be a medal for all finishers and lucky draw prizes.
Cyclists, runners and walkers will traverse water bridges anc could be lucky to spot game roaming in the veld.
There will be "jewels" en route.
In the 30km race, which will test the technical skill of cyclists, there will be a 180° sea view, an enjoyable climb of 533m, with a path of 2.5km, which has that has been cut through bush.
These are some of the attractions of the race.
