GEORGE KICKBOXING NEWS - Kickboxers from George won several medals at the recent EP Classic.

They have all qualified for the National Championships in Cape Town on 21 and 22 September.

The medal winners were Gianni Snyman (gold in boys, novice 16 - 17, points sparring, points continuous sparring and boys 16 - 17, novice and intermediate tag sparring and gold in MMA light, men 75 - 84kg); Ronwill Jullies (gold in points sparring, boys 16-17, intermediate and gold in novice and intermediate tag sparring); Lorenzo Booysen (gold for traditional kata, silver for continuous sparring and bronze for points sparring, all in the boys 16-17 intermediate division); Luciano Harmse (silver for points sparring and bronze for continuous sparring, boys 16-17 intermediate) and Sensei Wesley Blinkhorn (gold in the men's black belt open and gold in men's 65kg and under advanced points sparring and continuous sparring).

Blinkhorn has taken over the club after Phil Anderson passed away.
