The junior karateka was exposed to the traditional Okinawan fighting art of Goju Ryu karate in both Kata and Randori (free fighting) and the Gashuku was concluded with a blue and brown belt grading.
Those to receive their first blue belt Kyu grade were:
Luke du Plessis, Kyle Gauche, Marcus Kleynhans, Morné le Roux, Kyle Meyer (George), Zander-Lee Solomans (Oudtshoorn) and Johan du Preez (Sedgefield) with Charné Byleveld from Oudtshoorn receiving her brown belt. The rest of the group received Kyu grades in the blue and brown belt Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate system.

The u.14 group that attended the Southern Cape regional Gashuku, flanked by the course instructors sensei's Rocher, Jannie le Grange and Angelo Prins.
