GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - George Bowling Club recently completed its Club Men's Pairs Championships.
The round robin was played on Sunday 27 June, with the winners of the various sections going through to the playoffs, which were played over the past weekend.
In the finals, the team consisting of Louis Prinsloo and Paul Jonck were up against the team of Lourens Rademan and Mike McCarthy (who substituted for Bennie van Loggerenberg).
It was a tight affair, with both teams having 12 points after the first twelve ends, but it was the team of Lourens and Mike that emerged as the eventual winners. Congratulations to the winners and runners-up for a great game played in a good spirit.
