GEORGE NEWS - It was a proud moment at George Golf Club for a group of Southern Cape Nomads who were awarded 10 year ties.
They were John Bland, Graham Williams and Pieter Meyer.

The sponsor of the day, Terry Dimatellis of Golden Harvest must be thanked for a brilliant prize-giving table.
George also played host to the Old Mutual International Pairs South Africa, a betterball format, and the winners of the day were Ferdie de Lange, Mike Carr, Gerrie Hendricks and Will Sharpe. These players will now represent Southern Cape in the regional finals in Port Elizabeth.

Southern Cape Nomads is on a membership drive and will be having an open day at Plettenberg Bay Golf Club on Sunday, 3 April. All interested persons are welcome to enjoy the Nomadic spirit and see how they help junior golf and selected charities while having fun.
