GEORGE FOOTBALL NEWS - Sixteen regional teams will be battling for the Nedbank Cup championship this coming weekend in Knysna. It's more than a decade now that Nedbank has been supporting amateur football across the country.
The winners from the regional Nedbank Cup playoffs will join the other regions in the Western Cape provincial Nedbank Cup playoffs, with the regional winners playing a final game against the winners of the Nedbank Cup in the ABC Motsepe League team.
The winner of this game will be among the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup.
The Eden Region Nedbank Cup fixtures are as follows:
- Simunye FC vs Young Blues (Lawaaikamp derby),
- Moonlight (Dysselsdorp) vs Black Cats,
- Peace Makers (Mossel Bay) vs Infantry School (Oudtshoorn),
- Eastern City vs Oriented Birds (Plettenberg Bay),
- Parks United vs United FC (Knysna),
- Knysna Celtics vs Springbok (Oudtshoorn),
- United Brothers vs Young Pirates and
- Heaven Stars vs Paris United.
