The teams will be fighting for the top spot in the regional play-offs.

The winner of the regional Nedbank Cup will face the Western Cape ABC Motsepe Nedbank Cup champions to determine the overall Western Cape Nedbank Cup champs. The winner will go straight to the National Nedbank Cup Competition last 32.
The Safa Eden Region president, Siyabonga Chris Tyhawana, told George Herald that they are looking forward to a great start to the new season with four teams that have been promoted.
This followed the outcomes of the disciplinary committee hearing of Raul Stars (George), Paris United (George) and Young Pirates (George).
According to him their participation was terminated after violating the Safa rules by failing more than three times to honour their official league fixtures. He said Safa Eden Region wishes these teams nothing but the best of luck for the upcoming 2023/24 season. He also thanked the national sponsor, Hollywoodbets, for providing the new soccer jerseys to all the participants.
