GEORGE NEWS - The match between Young Blues and Barcelona ended in a draw, scoring one each at the Lawaaikamp Stadium on Saturday 18 November.
Young Blues' Lwando Dentile and Athenkosi Mgxuma launched the first attack of the game, threatening the defence of Barcelona.
Fifteen minutes later Dentile was awarded a penalty by referee Masixole Bambiso, after he was fouled in the goalkeeper's box of Barcelona.
However, Avela Qondo disappointed the home side as he missed the penalty by hitting the left goalpost.
Barcelona came back strongly and Benn Marchewo managed to score the leading goal, making it 1-0 within 25 minutes.
This woke up the Young Blues and they pushed very hard to equalise, however, Barcelona was having none of that, keeping their defence on guard all the time.
Things changed when Young Blues' strikers pressured Barcelona's defence with Chillies Mwasa testing the opposition several times.
The first half ended 1-0 with Barcelona leading.
During the second half, a combination of the ball passing between Mvuyisi Zweni and Mwasa of the Young Blues made it possible for Mwasa to score an equalising goal.
Young Blues and Barcelona both struggled to score a leading goal.
Eighty minutes into the game Barcelona launched a heavy attack against Young Blues trying to score a leading goal, but was denied once again.
Dentile was fouled in the box again, but the referee didn't blow for the penalty. The game ended 1-1.
Celtics Bradley Hartnick controls the ball to break through.
