GEORGE NEWS - Durbanville Cricket Club will represent the Western Cape at the Cricket South Africa T20 Community Challenge. The hosts for the event on Sunday defeated the SWD champion, Pacaltsdorp, by seven wickets in the final round-robin match of the competition.
Pacaltsdorp was impressive on Saturday as they defeated Paarl Cricket Club (Boland) by 27 runs, but crucial injuries prevented them from firing on all cylinders as they went down by seven wickets against the Western Province champions, Durbanville CC.
Pacaltsdorp ended second, ahead of Paarl, who also lost against Durbanville.
