GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The CANSA Virtual Challenge starts today!! Speaker for George and Ward 22 Councillor Gerrit Pretorius started his morning off with a cycle in his stunning ward.
Running from 5–15 March, join George Municipality and CANSA in a Virtual Run/Walk or Cycle for Life to raise much needed funds.
At the heart of CANSA Relay For Life is the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, to remember those who have left us and create awareness about cancer.
Covid-19 has meant that the annual event, as we all know and love it cannot take place this year. But that does not mean you cannot participate – get active and challenge yourself, your neighbours, your community. Exercise in your own space, wherever you feel safe on your own or in a group!
We encourage you to take part, help with our fundraising efforts for CANSA and at the same time enjoy your surroundings, get some exercise and fresh air, all vital to your well-being and mental health during these challenging times.

Sign up for a 5km, 10km, 42 km or 90km Walk Run or Cycle as a single or a group, fill in the online form, pay your entrance fee, (details given on the online form) and make sure you complete your registered distance between 5-15 March 2021.
Send in your participation photographs and videos, shots of your pedometer (Note Strava App is free) and you stand a chance to win prizes in the Lucky Draw! Email to sean@bip2965.co.za or aodendaal@cansa.org.za.
