Students arrested for malicious damage to property
NATIONAL NEWS - Nineteen students from the King Sabata Dalindyebo Further Education and Training (FET) College in Libode have been arrested for malicious damage to property and public violence.

“Police have arrested 14 female students and five males aged between 22 and 24‚” said police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela.

Fatyela said that the angry students were arrested today (Tuesday) after they trespassed at neighbouring Candlelight Nurse College.

“They caused chaos‚ broke the fencing of the nursing college and terrified the students of the nursing college. Police were called and arrested the rowdy students who have illegally occupied the property‚” said Fatyela.
