NATIONAL NEWS - Former gangster Rashied Staggie’s parole has not been revoked despite another run-in with the law.
At the time of his arrest in April, Staggie was under correctional supervision after spending more than a decade in prison for rape and kidnapping.
The former gang boss and three others were arrested on the N1 highway near Canal Walk shopping centre in Cape Town after they were caught with firearms and suspected stolen goods from a Johannesburg heist.
The men now face charges for possession of stolen goods, including alcohol and cigars after they were nabbed by the Hawks.
