Prince Harry was set to take to the field with a group of disadvantaged children in a training session that will also feature former Springbok captain John Smit.
According to a statement released by the British High Commission, Tuesday’s training session at King’s Park is part of the SA Rugby and British High Commission Rugby Exchange programme that provides opportunities for players and coaches from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Early in the morning the children could be seen waiting expectantly at the edge of the field.
After the training session the kids will be divided into two teams, one led by Prince Harry and the other led by Smit.
