NATIONAL NEWS - More leaked emails have revealed how the controversial Gupta family allegedly attempted to recruit staff at the Union Buildings who held positions close to President Jacob Zuma.
An investigation by amaBhungane, Scorpio and News24 show that the Guptas allegedly offered gifts, favours and business deals to those close to Zuma in his office.
The report says the president's body guard, his chief of staff, private secretary and the chief director in the deputy president's office were all targeted by the Guptas.
Leaked emails show how a Sahara sister company allegedly intended to pay for Zuma's long-serving bodyguard Major-General Muzingaye Mxolisi Dladla and his then wife for a weekend away to the Maldives in 2010.
But Dladla has denied being captured.
