NATIONAL NEWS - Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown says that she didn’t know that Eskom was lying about its relationship with Trillian Capital Holdings.
She’s given the parastatal until the close of business on Thursday to come clean.
It emerged on Monday that Eskom lied when it said that the more than R1 billion it paid to the Gupta-linked firm was above board.
Minister Brown was before Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) on Wednesday morning where SA Express is explaining its irregular, wasteful and fruitless expenditure.
But it was the Trillian matter that journalists wanted to know about as Brown was leaving the meeting.
Brown, however, was monosyllabic.
