The four coaches are soulful songstress Lira, Afrikaans rocker Karen Zoid, local music's blue-eyed boy Bobby van Jaarsveld, and Parlotones frontman Kahn Morbee.
Lira, Karen, Bobby and Kahn's teams of singers will compete against each other in the local version of the hit reality show.
In contrast to other singing competitions, in which the hyper-critical judges critique contestants' performances, The Voice's four coaches, who will all be seated in the show's iconic red chairs, play an active mentoring role.
