NATIONAL NEWS - The father of a Pretoria man who died at a popular night club after he was beaten and stabbed, allegedly by a bouncer, was briefly detained in police holding cells.

Twenty-three-year-old Shane Boruchowitz was killed after he tried to stop a fight at Ty’s Night Club last month.

The bouncer accused of the crime appeared in the Pretoria Magistrates Court earlier today.

Tensions between the Boruchowitz’s parents and friends and accused Okwuchukwu Joshua Nwairo ran high in court this morning.

Boruchowitz’s father took eight photos of the accused while he was standing in the dock.
