Sporting a profile similar to the 86 with styling said to have been derived from the TS050 competing in the World Endurance Championship, the GR HV Sports is the result of Toyota's in-house Gazoo Racing division hence the GR designation, with power coming from a hybrid drivetrain. No specs have however been revealed.
Finished a matte black hue with black alloy wheels and a rear diffuser claimed to the similar to that of the TS050, the targa top GR HV's interior said to feature a racing car-like ambience with a series of dials on the central display and a start button on top of the gear lever.
Despite being fitted with an automatic gearbox with buttons located underneath the aforementioned display, the GR HV, at the push of a button, can be driven with a traditional six-speed H-pattern manual, with drive going to the rear wheels like the 86.
