Refusing to drop much of its black-and-white disguise that has been in-place since being first spotted in March this year, the SVR will come equipped with more aggressive alloy wheels, a bespoke Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) body kit, red brake calipers and quad exhausts, while the so far unseen interior will feature unique inserts, SVR badges, and upgraded trim.
Spotted earlier this month hot weather testing near Dubai, the SVR will come powered by Jaguar Land Rover’s long-serving 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that will produce 423kW/700Nm. Hooked to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic gearbox, the fastest and most powerful Velar will complete the 0-100km/h dash in around 4.5 seconds, and reach a limited top speed of 250km/h.
