As predicted throughout the month, 93 EPU/LRP petrol will decrease by two cents per litre, while 95 EPU/LRP petrol will increase by four cents. Diesel will increase by a sizable 53 cents and 51 cents per litre for 0.05 percent and 0.005 percent sulphur, respectively. The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will increase by 50 cents. The changes will take place at midnight on the 6^th October, 2015, for the 7^th October 2015, onwards.

No need to download this app if you're a Google Android user - the update will automatically appear on your phone. Google Maps Navigation identifies traffic pileups and then offers alternative routes. Users can also search for any type of business along the way.

Route4Me

For drivers who hit several destinations, such as house hunters, real estate agents and delivery drivers, Route4Me finds the best route for multiple stops. The app claims the entire route is approximately 30 percent shorter after optimization.

Waze

Waze uses real-time traffic updates to notify users of the best routes to take in order to save on gas and dodge traffic jams. The app is updated by a community of drivers who helped create "speed trap ahead" alerts, warning users of road hazards.
