Update
GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service has released weather warnings for Wednesday and Thursday.
This is what you can expect from the weather today:
- A yellow level 2 warning was issued for wind and waves from Saldanha Bay to Plettenberg Bay on Wednesday afternoon, continuing until Thursday.
- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places in the Beaufort West and Prince Albert Municipalities of the Western Cape on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a ridging high-pressure system is expected to bring scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers to the south coast and adjacent interior region of the Western Cape.

Between 10-20mm of rain is anticipated increasing to 30-50mm in the afternoon, within a 24 hour accumulation period. There is a small possibility of hail and lightning.
