GEORGE NEWS - The five finalists of the George Herald Braaibroodjie Competition are preparing their lovely treats at the George Herald offices in Ring Road.
They will be heading off to crisp their "broodjies" anytime soon.

Angelique Reinhardt (25) spice up her braaibroodjies with chilli cheese bombs. She calls her recipe "Angii's Bomb Braaibroodjies".
Jackie Engelbrecht (51) use camembert cheese, figs and fresh herbs in her recipe.
Rachel Bertrand (35) says her special braaibroodjie ingredient is cheese, of which she uses for different kinds, including halloumi. 
Linda Willers (49) use her own home made caramalised onions in red wine and brown sugar for her braaibroodjies.
