GEORGE NEWS - According to a notice received from George Municipality:
"A section of Courtenay Street (between Meade Street intersection and Mitchell Street intersection) and Cradock Street (between Courtenay and Cathedral Streets) will be closed for about an hour from 10:00 tomorrow, 24 April 2021 for safety measures, while a tree is being felled at the George Prep intersection in Courtenay Street.
"Once the trunk has been felled and intersection cleared of debris, the Cradock Street section will be reopened and Courtenay Street will be partially reopened with one lane open and the other cordoned off directly in front of the Diskonto/estate agents parking area.
"Please take care in the vicinity and heed all traffic officials and demarcations.
"Please see GO GEORGE notifications for temporary re-routing."
