GEORGE NEWS - A letter ensuring unassuming people a job at the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), is currently doing the rounds.
The public is warned that this letter is fraudulent and the content false.
According to DCS's communications officer, Johan Pienaar, the content of this letter is completely false as the department does not accept any form of payment for job applications.
In addition to this, DCS only advertises specific positions. Each position has a unique reference number and the minimum requirements for each position are clearly stated.
