UNIONDALE NEWS - A rural safety stakeholder engagement started earlier today, Saturday 20 March, in Uniondale in the Eden Cluster.
A statement given by the police to the George Herald reads that the engagement is a feedback session following a visit by deputy minister of Police, Cassel Mathale in 2019 to the town.
Mathale is accompanied by deputy minister of rural development and land Reform, Mcebisi Skwatsha, national Head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, Lt-Gen Godfrey Lebeya, and Western Cape acting provincial commissioner, Maj-Gen. Thembisile Patekile.
Also in attendance are Maj-Gen. Pienaar, Maj-Gen. Motsepe and other senior SAPS managers.
