GEORGE NEWS - The contractor executing the road works in Caledon Street will be working late tonight, Thursday 9 May, to open as much of the closed-off section as possible.
The George Municipality warned that road users must be aware of the construction site and staff and heavy vehicles that will be in the street and proceed with caution. The road, manholes and kerb levels are still irregular.
Road users are requested to respect the road signs that are put in place for the safety of all.
The contractor has experienced vandalism of his signage in the past. Vandalism of any kind, can be reported to admin@hilland.co.za or 082 305 5097.
