GEORGE NEWS - Shepherd Ministries in New Dawn Park hosted an all white new years bash on Saturday 31 December at Glory Land.
This event was hosted to give a prosperous New Year's revival to all the vulnerable children in the rural community.
"It was an honor to attend this event with my child," a mother at the event said. During the event, presents were handed out to all small children, and the rapper from Parkdene Maxwell Matiwane, along with Megan Vryburg, entertained the children at the bash.
"This is a yearly event my husband and I are doing to help our vulnerable children in New Dawn Park. Every child is blessed with talents and attributes, therefore we teach these children that no matter the bad circumstances, the always have to work hard and respect each other," said event planner Catherine Jafta.
Along with Jafta and her husband Jonathan, these two made it possible for a child to eat on this important day.
"The last day of the year. What a wonderous moment it was for my child," Carlin Williams said during the event. "A thanks of appreciation go out to Ezra/Eden Sounds, Glory Land for sponsoring the venue and to each and everyone that helped us make this event possible," Jonathan Jafta said.
The children enjoyed themselves while dancing spiritual dance at the event.
