GEORGE NEWS - The Conville Police have opened a murder docket following the death of a 28-year-old man in Spandiel Street, Borcherds on Friday, 15 December at 17:20.
Sgt Chris Spies, the police spokesperson said preliminary investigation indicates that police were conducting patrols in the area when they were stopped by a group.
“The members went to investigate and found a man with several stab wounds to the body lying outside a house. He was later declared dead by paramedics on scene. A suspect (21) was later arrested in connection with the murder,” said Spies.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
The suspect remain in custody and will appear in court later this coming week.
Investigation into the murder continues.
