GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - In a first for the three scuba diving clubs in Mossel Bay - Garden Route Scuba, Absolutely Scuba and Godive - they will be collectively hosting a dive festival on Saturday 19 November.
Anyone interested in scuba diving is welcome to attend this event at the yacht club from 09:00 onwards.
According to Reel van der Merwe of Garden Route Scuba, the aim is to unite the three clubs to promote the sport by opening the event to the public.
There will be an introduction to scuba diving and for the non-scuba divers, the opportunity to snorkel will also be available. There will be talks by experts on sharks and research.
The public will also be educated on the different scuba diving courses to take.
A cash bar will be available.
