GEORGE NEWS - Wessa Eden's popular geology trips are back and the next one will take place in the Little Karoo on Saturday 28 September.
The self-drive guided road trip starts in Oudtshoorn at 08:00. It will lead via Swartberg Pass and Prince Albert, ending at Meiringspoort in the afternoon.
Geologists will explain the geological features at various points along the route.
Participants will receive detailed route directions.
This is a fundraiser for the Wessa Eden coffers and the cost is R150 per person (a non-refundable pre-paid donation).
Booking is essential and is confirmed only after the guest provides the following information:
• Names of members of your party
• Cell contact number
• The area where your home is (eg Wilderness, Groenkloof, Heather Park, Knysna, Mossel Bay, etc)
• Preference to offer a lift or take one.
The organisers will link you up to share rides and petrol costs. The number of participants is limited.
