GEORGE NEWS - George Mayor Leon van Wyk and Wilderness ward councillor Marlene Barnardt (right) recently visited the vegetable garden of Johanna Harmse (middle) in Touwsranten.
Johanna's garden is one of more than 70 municipality-supported food gardens in the area.
The food garden initiative is run by Community Development.
