GEORGE NEWS - Memorial service arrangements for Jaco Minnie (42) the man who was stabbed to death in Nelson Mandela Boulevard on Friday 13 December, have been finalised.
However, the family is reaching out to the community for platters for the service. Minnie was a member of Sorteria Church.
The family obtained no financial gain for his service.
Minnie's memorial service will take place at Sorteria Church at 11:00 on Saturday 21 December.
Anyone who is willing to contribute to platters can contact Minnie's sister, Jacky, on 081 015 4183.
Minnie's fiancé, Madeleine Oosthuizen, is battling stage four cervical cancer. The couple has two children, Joy (6) and Jack (8).
Minnie proposed to Oosthuizen on the day he was killed. It was also her birthday.
