GEORGE NEWS - At Hoekwil Primary School the number of Grade 1s is marginally bigger than last year.
Most of the 27 new faces were excited and happy to start school, with only one or two wiping away a few tears.
The school had no need to send any applicants away.
Cassidy Smit was very excited to start Grade 1 at Hoekwil Primary School.
