GEORGE NEWS - A hijacking was foiled by members of Seal Security on the Pacaltsdorp bridge in the early morning hours of Monday 24 October.
According to a post on the security company's Facebook page, members of their team noticed four suspects attempting to hijack a motorist on the bridge.
The security guards immediately rushed to the aid of the driver of the vehicle.
After the security personnel drew their fire arms, the suspects fled the scene on foot and the driver of the vehicle managed to leave without injury.
By the time of going to print, the exact detail surrounding the incident still had to be confirmed. Seal Security has been approached for comment and it is expected soon.
