GEORGE NEWS - Furry Friday ribbons are the Garden Route SPCA's unique way of celebrating International Animal Week, which is from 4 to 10 October.
These colourful ribbons, sporting cute paw prints, are on sale until 10 October.
At just R10, this ribbon embodies the spirit of the SPCA - the prevention of cruelty to and the help for neglected and abused animals.
George businesses are asked to encourage their staff to wear the ribbons that are available from the SPCA office in Ossie Urban Street, Tamsui Industria or at the charity shops in the York Street Mall Arcade, 100 York Street.
Please submit photos of you and your staff members proudly wearing your Furry Friday ribbons and we will post them with your business's name on the SPCA Facebook page.
Some will end up in the SPCA newsletter too.
