Update

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Only mopping-up operations for the night are planned from George to  Buffelsnek.

The fire at Misgund, Soetkraal area, seems to be safe for now and will only be monitored.

At Groot Phesante Fontein (Riversdale) the fire line is slowly approaching the houses. Garden Route DM together with Cape Nature, will protect the houses.

Fortunately the weather looks favourable for the night.
