GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality wants to boost the hospitality industry over the festive season by giving them the opportunity to expand their seating space over this time.
Businesses can apply for a free licence to seat customers outside from 15 December 2023 till 19 January 2024.
The available space on the pavement and other factors are considered when considering applications. Establishments must adhere to all trading and land use approvals.
