GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - In the latest weather update from the SA Weather Service, isolated to scattered rain and showers are expected along the east coast, with damaging winds expected over the south western interior tomorrow, 28 May.

Weather warnings are as follows: 

• Yellow level 2 warning for damaging coastal winds leading to difficulty in navigation at sea, is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas on Wednesday into Thursday.
• Yellow 2 warning for damaging interior winds leading to localised damage to formal and informal settlements is expected over Western Cape and the southern interior of Namakwa District of Northern Cape on Wednesday.
• Yellow level 2 warning for damaging waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea, is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas on Thursday, spreading to Plettenberg Bay from Friday until Sunday.

Fire danger warning:

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected for Central and Little Karoo districts and Hessequa municipality on Wednesday 28 May.
